Nope. He is conveniently ignoring the money spent by them before that on crucial players like Kdb, Walker etc
Ok but his point is that people are saying they won titles cos of money spent & he is saying going by that narrative, Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal should have won them cos all three clubs have spent a **** ton of money.

Unpopular opinion but he has a point. Like it or not.

Difference is City hace bought better.

Tbf he is right. 💁🏼‍♂️
No he's not.

A) They're cheating c*nts who haven't complied with FFP since it started. They don't have the organic revenue to spend what they spend.

B) He's one of the reasons the market has been destroyed because he started buying multiple 30m GKs and 50m fullbacks before anyone else was really buying 1.

C) The slimy c*nt purposefully told Baryern not to sign KDB when they were in pole position to take him Wolfsburg because he knew he was leaving them for City and so he ensured that City had already signed him when he arrive.

D) The only reason their net spend isn't astronomical is because they hoarded so many players by ignoring FFP and cheating that they can always sell a couple to offset their outlay every summer. The man is so shameless and gross.

I get you, I'm not saying all that isn't correct, but if you stick to just the bare expenditure of all the clubs mentioned & discount all the surrounding context, his point stands.

Just my opinion. Its okay to disagree.

They bought better no doubt but what enabled them to buy better? Their initial success which came from money (& 115 charges). Same as Chelsea doing it long time back but now able to spend organically.

Right but ignoring the context is an odd thing to do. It's like saying, "If you just ignore all the steroids he was doing, Lance Armstrong just rode the bicycle better than everyone else". Ignoring the steroids is a big deal in that equation.

Pep's ex team is involved in a corruption scandal and he was also found with anabolic steroids in his system more than once? Funny how this sort of thing follows him around. He's clearly always been a cheat so he was perfect for City

No he's not. City cook the books. You can't trust their figures.
Not saying that the funding wasn't moral etc.....but I'm just saying if you stick to simply money spent, Utd, Chelsea & ourselves have spent a **** ton as well. That's his point.

I don't know the comparable amounts spent of each team, but I wouldn't be surprised if Utd & Chelsea were a lot more than City. We have also spent a lot over last few seasons.

The context & circumstances behind it all (City finances etc) is a separate entity in my opinion. Other teams have had to spend to try to compete but for various reasons it hasn't worked. Yet.
