Arséne Wenger: "I will miss you"

So if everyone fit our strongest line up

Leno
Bellerin Luiz Holding Tierney
Torreira Ceballos
Pepe Özil Auba
Laca

Torreira
Xhaka Ceballos
Pepe Auba
Laca

Pretty good. The problem is playing auba on wings won't be ideal

Just swap Ceballos, who might need accommodating and bring Torreira with Xhaka.
This partnership was very good on first half of last season, but then Emery surprisingly decided to make all sorts of variations of it with Ramsey, Guendouzi and Elneny

With all fit I think the best formation is
Leno
Bellerin - Luiz - Holding - Tierney
Torreira - Xhaka
Pepe-Özil-Auba
Laca

Seeing bellerin won't be fit until 2 months we really have to get backup RB AMN in not RB

Looks good

Don't see it taking too long for Ceballos to edge ahead of xhaka

Everton have signaled they have money for Zaha from prior bids, and now Zaha has put in a transfer request. Just a bit sceptical of Everton going up to 35-40m for Iwobi, knowing that likely would help us get Zaha. Everton wants Zaha.

Think Guendo has looked alright in pre season, think him and Joe will shine.

The pressure on Woodward to find a replacement for Lukaku after they sold him, I can see them going for Mandzukic and Zaha even though he’s not a direct replacement.

Not bothered by Elneny right now as I don't see him stealing game time from anyone anymore. He's finished and we will also not reinvest for his money in the remaining time of the window..

Mustafi on the other hand could still sneak into games and ruin stuff, that's where it's at.

Bellerin/AMN
Sokratis/Chambers
Luiz/Holding
Tierney/Kolasinac

Monreal, Mavropanos (loan) and Mustafi could all go now.

Torreira/Guendouzi
Xhaka/Willock
Ceballos/Özil

Elneny can go, Smith Rowe on loan.

Not Zaha (although I wouldn't be unhappy). Give me an £75-odd million central midfielder (i.e. Casemiro/de Jong level) as a long-term replacement for Ramsey instead. :)

Would you do that on top of Ceballos, or let him have the season on loan and leave open the possibility he is the one to spend money on?
