What about Dynamo Kyiv's Artem Milevskiy?

24, 6'3", International and CL experience, good link-up play.

He'd probably be out of our price range too but an interesting player, yes. Very good technically and physically strong but I don't think his link-up play is that good.

An experienced quality keeper with plenty of caps under his belt. I think he would thrive at a big club and is definitely worth a punt.

Not the worst suggestion i have heard.

Anyone rate Behrami? The Hammers are broke so he would be cheap, he's used to the league, used to London, has got a terrific engine and can play all across midfield and in the full back spots. I think he could do a good job in central midfield as a squad player and also offer an alternative to Sagna.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The commentators were raving about him non-stop, praising his work-rate and engine. He wouldn't cost more than 6m I would think, but would probably demand more playing time than we could offer him, unless he was willing to be a utility player.

We were linked with him not long ago too. Considering the lack of options around, a decent squad player like him who could slot in straight away, might not be a bad signing.

hate him.. dont want him near here.. hated him at Lazio, hate him at West Ham.. dirty little fouler-type player.. he's sort of like Diouf, as in every other team loves to hate him (which isnt always a bad thing), but i really think we would be better off without him

Could be a perfect striker for us [quick feet, heading ability....] but he is just too tall. The perfect striker height I say is between 1,80 m and 1,90 m. That is a good balance between strength and mobility- less then 1,80 m and strength and height becomes an issue; more then 1,90 m and mobility + acceleration is affected.

Lower or higher then that boundary, then you need superb pace, skill or technique [ideally all 3 together] to compensate for that height problem. Llorente has good technique but not close to being outstanding. He has been improving every season, so maybe his technique will be even better in a few seasons time. In that case, he can succeed as a top striker.

Arsenal Quotes

My first ever football memory was Charlie George's double winning goal in 71. After that game; I just became an Arsenal fan.
