Ba will leave Newcastle as soon as a bigger club knocks at his door.
And if he's determined to leave, he'll do everything in his powers to achieve that.

what do you guys think of cisse coming here on loan, rumours saying hes unhappy at lazio. Plus they stuck him on the wing which proved it never worked well when he was at pool

Re Ba, Why would Wenger pay a transfer fee for a player that was available for nothing a few months ago? Anyway, Europe is full of 2nd rate African strikers like him who can come in and do a good job as back up for us - N'Doye, Doumbia etc. I actually said we should sign one of these African strikers last summer (mentioned Ba too), but I was shot down by the snobs on here.

How about a striker from the lower leagues? Jordon Rhodes or that big guy at Southampton? Ricky Lambert I think.

I wish CNN would stop talking about "North Korea's nuclear arsenal."

Call it a "nuclear capability," or a "nuclear stockpile." But please, stop sullying the good name of Arsenal!

Nathaniel Clyne was MOTM for Crystal Palace tonight, thought Sean Scannell was good too, Palace have 2/3 very handy young English players we should do go for.

GDeep - I do agree that there are some very good players in the lower leagues, but Clyne and Scannell aren't quite what we're looking for IMO. Zaha is the star turn at Palace but I don't think he offers much different to Walcott or Gervinho.

Lambert is pushing thirty now. Not very mobile, kind of Kevin Davies with a bit more ability. Adam Lallana is probably the best player at Southampton, but not sure if he's quite good enough for this level. Same goes for Snodgrass at Leeds.

As someone who watches Watford every now and then, I think Marvin Sordell has a big future, wouldn't mind us taking a punt on him.

I think my screen is slightly damaged, because there's something weird at the end of Phil's post.

Copy and paste it into Notepad, brah.

Come on guys, I wasn't being serious.

I'm a bit ashamed that you thought I was. :(

I wouldn't have minded if we lived up to that description. We're more like "RPG Arsenal" these days.

Palace have never had a very handy young English player.

Unless you count late-bloomer Ian Wright as "young" while he was there.

Clyne is a good player, been one of the best players in the championship for a while I can definitely see him making the step up. Reckon Championship is about Scannell level though. It'll be interesting to see how Zaha develops aswell.
