Dont really understand peoples tendency to attribute us coming eight this season to last year being a bad window of signings. Not necessarily connected, imo

Jesus man what are you drinking? Last window was grim and saw us fall to 8th, Sp**s got nowhere near 4th with Mourinho and Edu's only plan is to suck off Kia, unless you're telling us it's a coincidence that they all have same agent?

Poverty posting from yourself yet again. Only reason we fell from 5th to 8th is because of Emery. Under Arteta all signings have been key players and will be next year, look at the results they got when played together.

We're building something special here and I want you along with the ride.

Still Pining for Wenger
I wish we could have signed Sancho too guys but we're just not..that..good.

Arteta is going to have to do it little by little until we have the CL money and the pull to sign big players again. Again, look at Liverpool.

Who's going to be our Coutinho and Suarez that we can sell to fund the purchase of a world class keeper and CB?

Who from the league are we going to sign to be our Mane? Do Roma have anymore wingers we can sign for a cut price deal?

Look at Liverpool do what exactly? Have we stopped looking at Leicester and Dortmund?

We need to look at our own circumstances and build a plan for the future based on where we think the game is heading in the future. Not copy what other clubs are doing right now. Planning based on the present is how you get left behind.

Remember how a big man little man pairing was all the rage in the 90s and early 2000s or having a sole target man who couldn't do much but score goals. Think RVN and Drogba, while we had Thierry Henry. Then over a decade later, we were lining up with Giroud while all the other top clubs had great strikers with technical ability?

The club needs to figure out what type of football team they want to have in 2022 and start working towards that from now.

We'd of moon walked into 3rd with this squad had we had Arteta from pre-season, everyone knows it but no one will say it because they ain't ready to talk smart.

What’s with the Indian/Bengali hate here? Upsetting how it’s present here so casually.

Willian is a top player who improves our squad and starting 11, not many cons to this signing other than age.

Terrible posting, my God.

Willian has averaged 20 goal contributions every season for the past 5 seasons.

At least @Makingtrax was fair saying if we spent money elsewhere in the correct areas Willian signing is acceptable. You just full on ignorant to it, its honestly so tiresome seeing someone bash a signing when they haven't even played for us yet.

Change your tone.
Once you’ll realize hes just a contrarian and any response/reply trying to show another side is pointless as he’s not for/against something/someone for any other reason other than everyone else is for/against it you’ll be much better off.

We have a new young manager, we just lifted a trophy, and we are at the very start of his very first window to shape the squad his way to help play his way. There is clearly a lot to be optimistic about even after realizing the club will need to be creative to shape things as we aren’t City and Stan isn’t Roman and Covid has ****ed a lot of things. So ignore the moaning as nothing you’re going to say will change their view/internet persona and giving them attention is actually all they really want.

It’s only fantastic if you have a crystal ball and can see the future and know they succeed. Otherwise we went from 6th to 8th after the transfer window, it was a poor window.
So coaching and other factors like injuries don't factor into the success a season? You can have a good window and end up having a poor season you know. Both can be true.

I agree with most of your comments but our "Coutinho and Suarez" could come in multiple sales. For example Lacazette, Guendouzi and Torreira has an overall value of around £75M.

We have a lot of pieces of the puzzle already. I think Pepe, Tierney, Leno, Aubameyang, Saliba and maybe Xhaka will be in our best 11 in 2022. You then work forward from that. I want Auba to have a title challenging side round him within the next 3 years.

Arsenal Quotes

You kind of never leave Arsenal. How many comebacks do you make? At one point it will turn out to be a bad move. We all love the first Rocky but I'm not too sure about the last one.
