From all the players taking part in Euro 2004, pick your ideal XI. I'd go with...

Buffon

Ferreira Nesta Campbell Cole

Figo Gerrard Vieira Zidane

Henry Raul

Who would be in your team?

Try picking one player from each nation and make a staring XI with 5 subs.

Cech (Czech Rep)

Ferreria (Portugal)
Stam (Holland)
Campbell (England)
Lahm (Germany)

Izmailov (Russia)
Perotta (Italy)
Valeron (Spain)
Jorgensen (Denmark)

Henry (France)
Larsson (Sweden)

Subs

M.Yakin (Switzerland)
Karagounis (Greece)
Kovac (Croatia)
Berbatov (Bulgaria)
Verpakovskis (Latvia)

Perfectly balanced team, see if you can better it!

Tough one, but I would go for:

Buffon

Sagnol - Nesta - Canavarro - Lahm

Pires - Nedved - Viera - Zidane

Henry - Van der Vaart

Subs include: Hildebrandt, Cole, Campbell, Terry, Gerrard, Sneijder, Maakay, Totti, Makelele, Gallas, Ballack, Raul....well that would make a pretty good team, too

We should try to work out a comp of some sort where you pick a team and get points for goals, assits and so on. Auctually probably be to hard.

That would be good.

Any of you powerful people on Arsenal-Mania reckon that would be possible?

If you have somebody with a lot of free time and a faible for math/statistics it might be feasible....but we are tallking about a LOT of free time here

Some of the things it could involve just say

5 points for a goal
3 points for assist
2 points for full game
For the keeper clean sheet 5 points, 1 goal conceded 2 points
