Good player, but too MUCH involved in politics. Politics and football are two VERY different things.

ok ice... Could you also add possibly how much he would be worth if he was around these days at his prime, what player he could be compared with, and if there are any magical things he did?

The guy was absolute class. Just had a knack of doing things at important times. I'd say in his prime, in todays football he'd be around the 25 mill mark.

Other class players from his era include Prosinecki (Spelling), and Stoichkov.
