One thing ive learnt in here, is if it has anything to do with the indomitable Jury, then it will inevitably end up 'a thing' at some point.

The chronic substance abuse needs to stop, you're what two days into your time off and this is what you've become?

Frustrating thing is though is that a lot of the off field problems will likely continue that will prevent us pushing on as much as we should.

We all know the problems with our wage structure, but how does this get stripped if those who make the decesions have no football knowledge? Gabriel (60-70k) Mertesacker (100k) Jenkinson (45k!!!) just a few that are above their pay grade for their output/ability.

If you think that is bad look at this:

Aaron Ramsey £80,000, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain £65,000, Theo Walcott £110,000, Danny Welbeck £75,000.

Who said Wenger was careful with club money? He clearly is willing to spend lots of it on **** players.

Nothing Wrong With Me
A Wenger quote from The Guardian.

“We have suffered a little bit physically in the last two games. We were twice 1-0 up and started the game well. I felt we have given a lot in Europe, in the Premier League. We were a bit less fresh mentally to absorb the pressure of two big away games having just come back from Europe.”

So Arsène, why did you keep picking the same bloody team? Its comments like this that really annoy me. Even when we got to the City game he only changed Ox for Iwobi.

He's coming slowly and quietly. Don't scare him though or he'll scamper back down his hole.
I've noticed a subtle change. He's also starting to form opinions on players, even negative ones!

We might make something of 2016 after all.

It's actually a bit sad to see on a few levels. It takes nothing away from the good man @Makingtrax is. Seeing that final pillar crumble... or at least begin to :(

Just starting to enjoy Christmas mate. Leaving the crumbling pillar watch and the yearning for the ghost of Arsenal past to you guys .

I think the set up is there for a manager to come in and do something with this squad. Our problems in recent years seems to be mental and tactical and that is something that modern managers are specialists at.

I do hope we keep some of the values Wenger has like giving youth chances and stuff like that!

Too early to judge Wenger this season.

City and Everton away were disappointing but they're also really tough games.

Behind the scenes there are actually a few really promising signs- CB finally solved, the attack (our biggest failing the last few years) is functioning brilliantly.

Don't think we should condemn Arsène just because it feels like we've been here before. Need to find a functional CM pairing as a matter of urgency, but there's still everything to play for this season.

Drunka In Friend Zone
Wenger has full support from the board and as long Arsenal finish in top 4,he will stay with us.Board don't have ambition to win titles and to move club forward in terms of wining big competitions. It's easy to see how other clubs sack their managers when they see that things go wrong.

Can I judge Wenger's last 5 seasons instead? We'll probably fall short again.

You've changed. Who knew that Giroud starting week in week out had such an effect on you.

Agree on the promising signs but I think Wenger will always fall just short unless he has a side that come close to the invincibles in quality and temperament.

Not sure if the attack has really been fixed. Our ceiling has been raised when it comes to attacking performances but we still falter a bit too much for my liking. Our left wing lacks end product and our right wing isn't involved enough.

To win the league we need a lockdown defence that allows us to win games like Chelsea have been doing or we need to go up another level in attack. The CM situation doesn't help either.

Arsenal Quotes

A team can attack for too long. The most opportune time for scoring is immediately after repelling an attack, because opponents are then strung out in the wrong half of the field. All the men are expected to play to plan, but not so as to stifle individuality
