watching that makes me so sad that we didnt see a few more years of nasri, cesc, rvp, santi, eduardo, diaby, ramsey, henry, adebayor ... we sure lost a lot of our boys too early or too unfortunately. Hoping Özil sticks around and gives us a whole new highlights reel along with Pepe, Auba, Laca
We've wasted a lot of talent by not pushing on with solid transfers during those years. We've had some of the best players in certain positions, but never added the quality through spending while our competitors built towards unstoppable machines.

We should've had at least two/three league titles between 04 and 16.

yeah, but i blame the referees, the rigging, the deliberate injuries, blood doping and the dirty mafia money flooding in. That was a rather wild time.

Fun fact. If everyone in England supported the club nearest to them in the top 8 leagues of England, we would have the most fans. Didn't expect that considering the number of clubs in London.

Poor Cardiff.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
