We've wasted a lot of talent by not pushing on with solid transfers during those years. We've had some of the best players in certain positions, but never added the quality through spending while our competitors built towards unstoppable machines.

yeah, but i blame the referees, the rigging, the deliberate injuries, blood doping and the dirty mafia money flooding in. That was a rather wild time.
