I'm content with Chamberlain's performance today. I liked seeing him running in behind, and I like the fact that there's some end product coming from him.

He needs to learn when to use his varying attributes. When to run, when to dribble, when to shoot etc. He seems like a bright lad to be fair, and if it clicks, he'll fly.

I feel like the manner of our win has clouded some of your judgement. When Ox gets it wrong it looks absolutely horrendous, an ounce of composure would make him look a completely different player.

Thought he was good.. Great movement, but the composure wasn't there, sure it will improve with confidence. Encouraging signs for me and he's been positive overall this season. Just need to stay fit!

I think you're a bit too invested in it. I have zero faith in Ox, but I appreciate what I see. We can't expect Ox to put in 100% performances every time. I feel like he's on a nice little streak and he'll probably get another chance against Ludo. A lot of players were off today.

Great assist for the first goal, bit off after that.
Didnt really notice him going off for Ramsey.
Still thinks too much, but is doing pretty good for his standards now.
Hopefully the upwards trajectory continues.

Disagree with the two bolded points.

This is a huge season for Ox, if he's ever gonna be good enough to start consistently he needs to influence games like today. His assist was fantastic, and I'm glad he got it- his numbers this season are very healthy.

But the two occasions he got in behind the defence, he takes those opportunities so, so early. Just take your touch, relax a bit and make your mind up. His eagerness to impress acts as a disadvantage to his game sometimes.

Thought as a team we did really well today. Sloppiness cost us our clean sheet but some really good individual performances. Elneny in particular I thought was outstanding.

I thought he did well. Great assist for the opening goal, and should have had another assist but for Ozils woeful performance in front of goal. Two great tackles late on when Sunderland threatened too.

Much better players at the club have got away with piss poor and largely anonymous games, and yet got lauded because they got another assist. Dont ask me how that works....

This has to be his make or break season. Hes playing better but his decision making is the thing which lets him down.

We have investested heavily into Ox (considering we let JC out on loan) and now is the time for payoff and his future as an Arsenal player. With the squad and the competition we have for places its even more important for him this season to stand up and be counted.

He's not good enough for Arsenal. That cross would have been headed away by most non-Sunderland defenders. At least it didn't end up near the other corner flag as it normally does.

I thought he did alright by his standards. Probably had as many disappointing mistakes as he had good moments.

What annoys me is the potential - a guy as athletic as he is with his dribbling should be ripping through guys, especially today when there was acres of space. He had plenty chances today but usually ****ed it with a bad touch or decision. Lad has no composure once he gets into space.

To be fair, I feel that problems like decision making are not as easy to improve on as people think. Just because he's a great athlete, that doesn't mean it is easy to change his psychology.

****ing shocking today, assist aside did little to nothing right. It's awful for me personally when I champion for him to start then he pops up with a very, very 'typical' Ox performance. It's all well and good him saying he wants to play more, but days like today he has to make his mark.

Great cross for our opener, nothing of note after that bar a tackle on Khazri. Has the composure of a Male pornstar in his first audition. Unless he starts imposing himself on games more he'll be a bit-part player for life.

The lad needs a proper run of games before he can be judged. I'm sceptical about his ability to be a first team regular at this level, and I know he's had a lot of chances, but i want to see him backed in the league for 6 starts in a row before he is judged too much.

It is just confidence, methinks. if he keeps this up, and gets into the team regularly, he should be confident enough to start ripping into the opposition after some time. Many times in this match, he had the chance to dribble but did not take it.

I personally think he has low football IQ. Evident with his inconsistent performances, he can show flashes of brilliance at any random moment of time.

Has he got what it takes to remain on top of his performances? I don't see it. If you were to make a comparison to Giroud for example, as Wenger has quoted 'whenever he is questioned he comes up with an answer.'
Whenever The Ox is questioned, he doesn't come up with the goods. He usually gets visibly frustrated which hinders the rest of his match.

He might be okay for a squad that aims to win the Premier League (as a rotation option), but if Arsenal want to be even more ambitious and win the champions league one day, he needs to be culled along with a few others who can be upgraded to superior replacements.

If he was at Barca, he would be shipped out a long time ago despite his age, look at supposed talents like Bojan...

He's getting better. Not a bad performance today. It's going to be a fascinating battle between him and Iwobi for a place. If he only had Iwobi's football IQ...
