Let's all laugh at Man Utd: Istanbald

Why so serieuse?
Even if Jose lands in United, I think his deep hatred rivalry toward Pep and their inevitable supremacy in transfer market and squad depth, will get the worst from him in no more that two seasons max.

He'll be surrounded by his nemesis' in all circles: Pep, Wenger, Klopp, Simeone (most likely at Chelsea)
If that happens they should just write off Chelsea-Utd matches as 0-0 draws before a ball has been kicked.

Man U equalised. What a finish by Martial. Most would have just shot straight from that angle. Great chip.

Some numpties here were laughing at that signing. At 19 hes better than Groud and Lollcott combined.

Wenger wont buy unless it improves the squad. Obviously thinks Walcott is better.

They were laughing at the fee, not the quality of the player.

Apparently United have taken 11 points from 8 games against the bottom 5.

League is very weak
Not sure it's a disaster missing out on CL.

Would allow Jose to concentrate on one game a week and develop his team.

Failed to win in 17 of our last 26 games in all comps, haven't been in the top four for 2 months. It's beyond comprehension that he is still in the job.

Having watched the Sunderland-UTD game today, I think the Utd away fixture looks far less daunting and the Sunderland away fixture slightly more difficult that before. Utd really look a poor side. Trevor Francis hit the nail on the head: they don't have many players interested in defending. They've got a central midfielder at centre back, their full backs are ok going forward, but not good defensively. And they have players with skill, but no heart like Mata. We should be looking to pick up 3 points there.

The CL spot for the winner of the EL is only for the winner right? lets say united gets into the semis and the 3 other teams already are qualified, United wont get the CL spot?

Think LvG is done now.

Only if Mourinho wants to take over a ruined season, with a piss poor team - unlikely imo - they might as well let LVG continue, Mourinho will be looking to add 5-6+ players in the summer anyway, no reason for him to get to know any of the current players.

That would be very unfair, it probably goes to the competition of the EL winner then.

Edit: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2215121.html

Its explained on the above page @Balance is key

Scenario: Sp**s end up fourth (we win the title), Chelsea win the CL and United win the EL. Chelsea goes into the group stage, United into the playoffs and Sp**s? They get nothing just like in 2012 :D
