He hasn’t offloaded and replaced the squad players he and Edu should have.

If he doesn’t trust a player as part of the squad, replace them. Nketiah, ESR, Nelson, Viera… barely trusted with cup games, much less Premier League rotation.

January was the missed chance of offloading untrusted back ups, now we’re paying for it with an exhausted first team.

Not sure why people are having a go at squad players. We've seen less of them because we exited the cups early. They have played their part when needed. Can we have one or two upgrades? Sure. But it's not like Eddie ESR and Nelson have been as bad as people like to make out. Sometimes whether they come on or not depends on the game state. In these finely balanced games Arteta has used more of the first 14. But I'll say it's worked out pretty well so far. Ònly 4 more games to go.

This time last season we had 78 points, 81 scored and 39 conceded.

77, 82 and 26 as of right now. City were two points ahead at this stage last season, the one thing in our favour now is the fixture list.

The one thing in our favour this time is actually the fitness situation. Last time round we had just lost Saliba and Tomiyasu.

Arteta has won FA cup with his team, not Emery's (because Emery was not coach anymore).
