teams have doubled, hell almost trippled him at times this season and despite that he still managed to create a boatload.
he is not only an amazing dribbler with an eye for goal but has a lot of play-making about him as well and plays amazing trough-balls on the regular.

there just aren't any world-class strikers available but with mahrez/özil/alexis behind welbeck/giroud we would still have one of the best attacks in europe.

this would be the suarez situation all over again, mahrez is the player to get in the summer who would improve us the most.
not the time to penny pinch, if £50mil gets it done then do it very quickly.

Still not sure, he's proven his talent but is this season the beginning of a top career or just a purple patch?

Would rather go for someone more proven but on the other hand it's about time we started going for PL proven players.

Don't think you will remember Mahrez or Payet when next season is over.

Harry Kane was supposedly a 1 season wonder too. How can people assume Mahrez is just gonna be a one-season wonder? On what basis?

Mahrez been good for more than one season . I'd shudder to think how much he would cost though .

Anyone claiming Mahrez is a "one-season wonder" surely hasn't watched him closely at all.
The "he was only effective because the opposition didn't know him" argument is pretty ridiculous too, City for example played Delph with the sole purpose of stopping Mahrez but he completely torn them to pieces anyway

Sanchez...Özil...Mahrez

A step forwards for sure but it always comes back to the same point: we will be limited in how far they can go by the lack of a world class striker.

Why so serieuse?
No point signing these creative players when you have a **** striker.

It's like buying condoms when you're single.
Unlike Özil, he can score on his own without having to rely on a striker to finish his chances off.
Of course, if we get him we have to get rid of one of our wide players. I dont think Wengerll give up on his projects so easily.

From his perspective what would be the point of joining us? Wages? He can earn more elsewhere. Titles? He would most probably already be a PL champion, so his ambitions would lead to CL. Again not much of a chance here.
