I can't believe he really had the guts to say the opponents wanted it more.

He should be fired for that interview, seriously.

Agreed.

Our captain comes out and says you could tell early on they wanted it more. Shocking and shows his lack of character and leadership.

If that had been viera that game he would have kicked palace all over and the kicked the team all over at half time.

Embarrassing footballer. He bent us over and we lapped it up. Theo sign the thing. How daft were we.
At the time the club couldn't be seen to be losing more players. Seeing where we are now, it wouldn't have matterered anyway.

He has improved this year, but it still isn't enough. People don't really change in personality and there will always be the next lapse in concentration and form.

Absolutely. We needed him to stay and in our desperation to keep him severely over estimated his abilities. He lapped it up as well the wee weasel.

What Theo said isn't news to us and doesn't change anything. The real issue is the fact itself that our boys didn't want to compete. Whether Theo admits it or not doesn't really matter.

Yeah it's a dumb thing to say. But it's Theo ****in Walcott. Was anyone under any illusions that he was a good leader?

Classic Walcott passmap from Palace game. Man who prefers to play football without a ball.

I guess speaking the truth is now offensive to the snowflakes on AM
Not really. He is just too niaive to be made captain and speak in the media. People don't want to hear that they thought Palace wanted it more, but the team decided not to even address that at half-time.

We will still be Arsenal fans long after Walcott and co have left to spend their ill gotten gains.

So you are unable to dribble past your fullback or offer any support in attack because you can barely cross and like to eat up the CF space looking for a tap in, okay. That's part of the game, let's pretend you can be an Arsenal level footballer for a decade without any of that.

But at least offer something defensively ffs, the 3 good games he had this season showed a Theo covering for Bellerin when he overlapped, running that extra bit to isolate the attacks starting from our right. Once he won his coffee maker that Theo dissappeared

Arsenal Quotes

A player's true character is in how he plays and not in his social life. You can hide your real personality in your social life, You cannot on the field.
