He totaly owned the chelsea midfield in france, and got the **** terry booked, even though he dissapeared later in the game doesnt take away his contribution there.

I rate Gourcuff above Nasri and ben arfa right now, even though the later 2 are more talented.

comparisons to diaby are somewhat valid though this guy is better.

Definitely not better than Nasri though. Easy.

Here's the thing though: Bordeaux can make his move permanent by paying Milan around £13 million at the end of the season. It's a hefty price tag, but not an absurd one. And, in fact, given his age (22) it may even be a bargain. So much so that there are strong rumors in the French press that some of Europe's biggest clubs (the usual suspects: Real Madrid, Chelsea, etc.) are working out a deal with Bordeaux whereby the French club would exercise their option to buy and then re-sell him elsewhere at a profit (basically "flipping him", the way people used to do before the housing market tanked). If he plays like this on a regular basis, he'll be worth every penny. And Milan will have made a colossal blunder.

Nasri talks up Gourcuff as speculation mounts

Arsenal’s Samir Nasri has spoken about his admiration for international colleague Yoann Gourcuff as speculation mounts suggesting the Bordeaux loan star could move to North London in the summer. 22-year-old Gourcuff, who is currently contracted to AC Milan, will be allowed to leave the San Siro in the summer if a €12m is forthcoming. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are all thought to be monitoring the situation with Chelsea also keen on the attacking midfielder.

“He had a hard time during his stay with Milan," Nasri told L’Equipe.

"Many people wrote him off too quickly. But, as far as I am concerned, I was always aware of his potential."
