Emery deserves massive credit. I think Özil won more tackles tonight than he has in the rest of his Arsenal career.

That comes from the manager. And it comes across for the other players as well. Iwobi for one looks like he has a bit of something between the teeth.
I acknowledge that. Simply pointing out that this teams attacking potential made it easier for Emery to focus on his magic i.e. motivation and discipline.

We play like a complete unit. Our players have great partnerships and everyone seems eager to be on the pitch. Not only do they look motivated but well drilled in the press. Where we were conservative against Wenger we are a bit more aggressive (in parts) under Emery.

You can see that we are going to be playing many different systems and it seems each one has been a great fit for our players. Emery brings freshness where Wengers tactics were pretty well documented for 22 years

I wanted Wenger to do this near the end, but he became so pragmatic, he never did so.

It's not that we're defending better, or are more disciplined, not even close.

Emery's just got them to attack, attack, attack. Until we have better defenders, we're not ever going to be able to sit back and defend. What we can do is turn 2-1 into 3-1 instead of sit on it. Towards the end, Wenger started doing amazing stuff like bringing on Kolasinac to play as winger to defend a lead.

We can't defend. Might as well accept it, and just go all out attack
Laca was new and got operated upon. Özil had back problems. Iwobi was still raw. Sanchez was sulking. Auba was bought midseason. Even bloody Welbeck was injured. The atmosphere was hostile.

Things were different then. We had to have 20 chances to finally score. Now we have two in-form 50M + strikers. Now is our time.

I’ve told Dave to cut off his ponytail. I think it makes him less aerodynamic.
