Also considering they're pretty much the same age, would people consider selling Emi IF he is unhappy and wants proper first team football? He's probably going to add a very good sum to his value. Good keepers are hard to come by and I think if someone came in with an offer between 20-30 million we should let him go.

Considering ffp isn't an issue this year thats fine. When contracts are up we should in theory balance the books nicely.

Worth a punt for one more season before he goes into coaching? I'll be honest, I haven't watched him at Villareal, but he got recalled to the Spain squad this year, so must be capable of the odd bit of magic.

Not saying he would walk into the first team, but his experience would be an invaluable asset. Could be useful as a sub for the last 10-15 minutes when we want to keep hold if the ball as well.

I think the hopeless romantic in me wants him to get a proper swansong with us.
