i don't think most teams do register 10 shots on target these days apart from the elite like City or liverpool football changed it's not attacking like before.

I like AMN in midfield. He is mobile, making runs from deep. Our 4-5 options for a 3 man midfield should be Partey, Elneny, Ceballos, AMN (and ESR) from now on

A decent championship team beats that team easy tonight.
What those players did tonight is irrelevant also. Most of them are not the answer to our problems and if they were they wouldnt have been playing tonight. That's the sad truth.
All this hype about 11 shots etc. Again means nothing. It's the minimum required against this type of opposition.
We have a huge match on Sunday and that's what we should be judging this team on. Nothing else. We could all pick and manage a team to beat those EL bums. In fact a team made up of us all would too.

I'm pleased with the win and the performance especially in front of the fans that turned out. We played with more pace and power in more areas of the pitch but the main difference was the one/two touch passing. We looked totally different to the technically defunct clogged we see in the PL. I know EL opposition is League 1 standard, but if we play our players in areas, and in systems and partnerships in which every player thrives instead of having to cover every weakness in the squad, we will do better. Our youth players have real connections and combine so well with each other. They should get PL chances instead of picking names. Willian is a bust.

Spot on, nothing that happened tonight really means anything in the grand scheme of things. Laca as a 10, AMN in midfield, everything being so open, none of that is working in a serious game. Sure it was enjoyable but you cannot ignore the calibre of opposition which was very very poor. You ain't replicating what we say tonight in a PL game unless it's against maybe Fulham.
