Exactly. He'd be the Song backup everybody is yelling out for. For what its worth I'd keep Diaby because I feel he can play the Song role very effectively. He's got the attributes to contribute to the squad, so I've got more time for him than others.

Yeah, 10m for a starter for the French national team and an important Arsenal player is totally unreasonable.

Before anyone starts to question Diaby´s importance to us you need to remember that when fit he more often than not has started for us the last couple of seasons. Think of that what you will.
