Question of the match: If Fabregas is fit, do we play him?

Don't think it would be that wise to. Even if he is fit, which i doubt, i think he needs a rest. He looked quite tired, which is surprising seen as it's the second game in. If we don't play him, a trio of Song, Denilson and Diaby should be enough to hold onto a lead.

If fully fit, I'd play him a half and then replace him with Abou Dribbliaby. We need to make sure we score early to put the tie behind Celtic and make the game easier for ourselves.

I'd rather take a chance with Ramsey (at home let's not forget) and give him the recovery time so he's fully fit for the Manure game. I can't see us letting in more than one goal at home, so we should be OK.

-----------------Average Al--------

Sagna------Vermaelen-----Gallas------Clichy

Eboue-------Denilson-------diaby------Arshavin

----------Bendtner-------Eduardo-------

I would play something like this, keep the back 4 very strong and give Fabregas a rest.

I wouldn't risk Cesc in any case and Robin could probably due with a breather. I can see an early goal being scored which would surely kill their hopes once and for all.

I'd play Cesc if he's able to play but I think Robin will be rested for this one.

Save Cesc for United if hes taken a knock imo. Thats not to take Celtic lightly though, put him on the bench and bring him on if we dont kill that tie off.

I guess we can hold them off with a midfield of Diaby Ramsey Denilson,

Rest Song RVP Fabregas for Manure, take of Arshavin when the game is over.

I think that would be foolhardy. I'd rather replace either Diaby or Ramsey with Song. There is no reason to take such a large gamble. If we score a goal or two, perhaps we can take him off and rest him for the Manure game.

Play our best back line + Song.

Everyone else is optional.

I would say Diaby is a must for this game as well.

Where have you been for the last 2 months? You do know that we no longer use the 4-4-2.

2 months? More like all year.

I can just imagine the knee jerk posts and panic in this place if we concede a goal.

I say we rest one of the fullbacks (Gibbs for Clichy or Eboue for Sagna) and keep the rest of the back line at it's strongest. Also, Diaby, Denilson, and Song for our midfield trio, and cross our fingers and hope none get injured.

I wonder what the point of the above three lines was, though. Wenger isn't going to listen to me. Damn, I feel so down, but Eboue.

One big plus for us is that Landry N'Guemo misses the game for them through suspension. I thought he was their best midfielder in the first leg, so if Fabregas misses out at least they've lost one of their important and influential players too.

Another is that Gary Caldwell will play.

 I am too used to writing it out as a 4-4-2. Didn't we just also play a 4-4-2 today?
