Gerrard has been moved towards Aston Villa as head manager, will AV be a bit better then what they have been this season so far? Lets see how SG goes with AV.
Most important move for Gerrard is whether Michael Beale comes with him. By all accounts Beale is a quality coach, the brains of the operation if you like.
If that's the impression behind Beale then Gerrard would be better off moving without him.
Case in point:It’s funny seeing some of the Rangers fans turn on him after the way they laughed at Celtic when Brendan left.
Twitter has been golden in the past 24hours, seen people burning, smashing and punching pictures of Gerrard. Some writing “ heart broken “ posts, and some in some in complete denial - “**** him, no ones bigger than us anyway “Case in point:
Case in point:
Small man syndrome. The cutout is too tall for him couldn't he have cut it down to his height before filming just to make the punch look better and himself less of a shrimp?
Yeah, would like to see them do well. Gerard was a fantastic player for Pool and England. Done really well at Rangers too. The Prem is stuffed with foreign managers, one or two English managers being successful wouldn’t go amiss. Really not sure why we have so few.I hope he does really well, I like the guy a lot as well and was pretty gutted he never got to win the Prem. I hope what he's done at Rangers can carry over to Villa and it would be nice to see him take over from Klopp at Liverpool.
Most likely because they aren't good enough, and perhaps a reluctance to go abroad. Too many of them are comfortable in the lower leagues in England, when they should broaden their horizons and coach outside of England.Yeah, would like to see them do well. And Emi’s there of course. The hate against him is puerile for a guy who stayed here 10 years waiting for a chance. Wish them every success because they shouldn’t really be in our sphere of operation having half our squad investment.
Spot on. Same with English players though, few have the temerity to venture outside these shores, partly because of lack of linguistic skills and partly because the money’s so good here. English is almost an international language now thanks to the Internet and the US film industry, so it’s easier for foreign players and managers to come here. Most likely because they aren't good enough, and perhaps a reluctance to go abroad. Robson, Hodgson and Potter are good examples of what can be gained by coaching outside England. Gary Neville less so, but at least he dared.
