I guess that means bye bye to Eboue, and no deal in signing Vrsaljko from Dinamo Zagreb, who also plays at RB and sometimes at CB too.

It would be outrageous if this meant bye bye to Eboue. Imagine Sagna was injured for 3 months, we'd be relying on this kid.

Well Diaby and Denilson were injured or decommissioned for the whole season and we relied on 19 year old Wilshere who became the toast of the country, so there is precedent. Not that I'm sayig it's gonna happen again....

But they weren't sold to make way for Wilshere, if Jack had flopped then there was a safety net, albeit a pretty **** one. I don't think selling Eboue is the way to go here.

Can see Eboue staying for another year or two at least, with Jenkinson involved in cup games and maybe getting a spell out on loan in the Championship. He's very inexperienced for a 19 year old.

Eboue will still be here. Jenkinson will play in the reserves and go out on loan I would expect.
