Thought it was Theo. Quite sure this means he's banned for Dortmund.

The commentary team said he would be banned for the first game after he got the 2nd yellow.

Is Theo really suspended? Can't find a reliable source that confirms it.

It would be madness to suddenly play a two man central midfield away to Dortmund.

22.04 Exceptionally, single cautions and pending yellow-card suspensions expire
on completion of the play-offs. They are not carried forward to the group
stage.

Looking at the regulations Theo should be eligible

Hope Ramsey gets the bench for this one. He's looking tired already. A possible midfield trio of Song-Arteta-Rosicky would be just fine I think.

would take a draw
would love a win
i expect a loss

sadly that will be the refrain for large chunks of this season, i fear

Dortmund weakest point yesterday was their ability to cope with pace. Let's dish them some pace.

Dortmund have already conceded three goals at home this season versus eight for the whole of last season.
Defence not up and running yet?
We're managing some goals away from home, and our performance away to Udinese was our best this season so far, therefore we may take advantage of any unadressed weakness in their defence.

Gervinho and Song will make us stronger and perhaps Wenger might start Santos over Gibbs in order to give us more bite.
Oxlade for the suspended Theo would be a big call.
I'd love to see it happen even though I'm not sure he's 100% ready.

Don't think Theo is suspended. Pending yellow card suspensions are not carried forward to the group stage.

Btw how are Dortmunds FBs? Do they deal with pace well?

Their FBs Schmelzer and Piszczek are quite quick from what I've seen, so I don't think they'll struggle against pacey players.

However, they're inexperienced so they might struggle against the likes of Theo/Arsh or Gervinho when it comes to 1 vs 1 situations.

I'd take a draw now, our hardest fixture of the group by far and we should focus on winning our home games and not losing away from home. Obviously though, a win would be brilliant.

Would like to see RvP as the deeper striker with Theo upfront for this one. Ramsey and Arteta are wrong players to play as the AM/No10. It should be either van Persie or Arshavin.

Theo and Gervinho should both play and lets have a run at them.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal are the most beautiful club in England. At Man City and Chelsea, they will never have that class and style.
