Wilshere, Sagna and Vermaelen should all be back in the side for this, I'd actually play Vermaelen in midfield.

Never in a million years will this happen, but I'd love Wenger to pick this team:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - Szczesny
- Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Gibbs
- - - - - - - - - - Arteta - Vermaelen
- Walcott - - -- - - - Wilshere- - - - - -Cazorla
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- Giroud

Szczesny

Sagna--Mertesacker--Koscielny--Gibbs

-------Arteta--Wilshere
----------Ramsey

Walcott----Giroud-----Arshavin

Cazorla is running on empty. There's no way he'll be effective on a cold windy Wednesday night up North so he should be rested along with Podolski.

It's time for our little Russian to start his first league game.

We could play our best team for the first time in like 3 years although that depends on if AW rests some players or if some players pick up knocks.

@THunter Vermaelen doesnt have the ball skills to play in midfield i dont think, hes ok at the back when he has time and can make easy passes but in midfield he will need to be much quicker with his feet, also his right foot isnt great.

if fellani plays, we might be ****ed (he didn't today against norwich), i don't see anyone in midfield capable of doing a job on him and keeping him quiet.

Wonder how arteta will handle the reception, either way, with the current system everton play, he'll have his work cut out for him, i can see a score draw, 1-1.

No Ramsey or Gervinho, please! I'm fed-up of those two in particular. It was also nice not seeing Vermaelen in defence.

I haven't really gotten any of my predictions correct, this season. But another draw wouldn't surprise me.

We have an exceptional record against Everton, so here's hoping we can do the biz up there. Probably 1-1 or maybe 2-1 to us. We shall have to defend well from the get go and take what chances come our way. Simply we shall have to play a near perfect game to beat them.

Huh? He was our best midfielder against Villa.

I'm guessing you would be devastated if we dropped Mikel 'the midfield general' Arteta, despite the fact he has been utter **** for about a month now.

I don't base my opinion on the most recent one-off example available. Ramsey just isn't up to it, and the sooner Wenger does something about it the better. As for Arteta; he was doing very well beside a competent two-way midfielder (Diaby) at the start of the season, but his performances have become less effective since sicknote took another leave of absence.

We usually do pretty well against the Merseyside clubs, the likes of Fellaini couldn't do too much against us the last few seasons either. Cazorla surely will start this game, we can't afford to rest him against a team above us in the table, even if we should.

Hope we don't start the game asleep until the 20th minute again, maybe we can rest the little Spaniard if we're leading early enough. The other Spaniard also needs to be benched, been sub-par for about a month now. Will be a narrow game either way, but three points are definitely doable here.

 Nah if Wenger wont rest him while up 3 goals vs a 10 men Sp**s team at home do you really think he'll rest him away to a team in a "six point game" at any scoreline?

Cazorla didn't play for a week when we played the **** at home, whereas he'll have played four games in ten days or so when we're at Goodison Park. He also brought him off vs Montpellier, pretty late though I'll admit.

Third clean sheet in a row would be nice. I'd take a 5-7 win again too though.

All I know is we can't afford another sh*tty result, this is all going to add up come end of season if we don't start getting a winning streak in soon.

Dropping Cazorla against one of our main contenders for the top 4? Are you ****ing kidding me? We need 3 points, we need Cazorla and Theo, no matter how bruised and broken they are.

Wenger will run Cazorla into the ground but he will have no choice because no one can replace him. Podolski could use a rest but I do not trust Gervinho and Ox at this stage.

We have such a thin squad FFS.

Funny, our captain and vice captain should be benchwarmers.. Next season Wilshere or Mertesacker should be captain.
