It’s why Chelsea let Lamptey go and kept Reece James iirc.
Reece was much bigger when it came to decision time, both great so either of them would have been good for Chelsea but we see Lamptey setting the prem alight this season.
Im possible to put a hard cap on a young players ability, too many have gone on to have big growth spurts or turn out to be late bloomers later down the line.

This is why I’m not buying him being bigger talent than nketiah. They are similar level and with good academy you will have a lot of one of these two type of situations. We can’t keep every talented youngster who come through. Martinelli is exactly same age as balugon as well. Then you have Moller who is different type of striker as well. It’s gonna be one of either nketiah or balugon

At this current time he’s right though.
Tbe only 20 year old at the entire club kinda thriving at 20 or below is Saka and he’s being over played.
Thankfully we’re not the club where players to come to improve and move on to Barcelona or City anymore. This also means it’s the type where Willian, Cedric or Jorginho come to retire and rob minutes from promising youth.

Arsenal have always had a lot of young players and given them minutes. Going through a period where the manager is tryna make stuff click isnt the right time to cast judgement on the ethos at the club. We have signed and played multiple young players in the last few years. I expect Arteta to start playing them if he finally gets a good base going, or the new manager to do so if Arteta fails.
You'd think we are an Italian club the way some are going on about it.
