Fulham v Arsenal - Match ratings

Mannone - 9 - If I was nit-picking, I'd say that he could have pushed the ball out of danger a little better with some of his saves, but generally it was great to see him play with far more confidence than he has before, and he saved our asses on a number of occasions.

Sagna - 6 - Some good work galloping up the right wing, but was part of a defensive outfit that struggled to bring the ball back under control at times.

Vermaelen - 6 - Great from open play, but we let players get free in front of our goal a bit too often from set pieces, of which we gave away too many.

Gallas - 7 - Better than great from open play, again, but as with Vermaelen we looked very shakey whenever the ball came into our box in the air.

Clichy - 5 - Again, like Sagna, we didn't bring the ball under control from the back well at all today, and he looks perhaps the least assured in posession of that group.

Song - 6 - Still gets caught upfield a bit, and Fulham seemed able to play it right through us at times - if we're going to press high up the field, as we did, he's going to need to improve his discipline. THat said, he also had some very good moments defensively.

Fabregas - 6 - He is so sloppy with his passing at times at the moment, but he's still more than capable of finding that one moment of magic that can unlock the defence, and his pass for Van Persie's goal was sensational.

Diaby - 5 - Some nice moments in the first half, without anything really meaningful, and then faded to nothing in the second half.

Bendtner - 7 - Full of running, and as usual always looking to put the other team on the back foot.

Van Persie - 6 - A very well taken goal, great touch and nice finish. But perhaps didn't get himself into positions as well as he has in previous weeks.

Arshavin - 5 - Quiet, and didn't really get himself involved. Had one glorious chance though that he really should have done better from.

Rosicky - 7 - Mobile, and created one good chance for Eboue.

Eboue - 6 - The usual - two great runs, completely impotent in the final third.

5.5 = average, 5 = below average, 6 = slightly above average

Mannone: 10

Clichy: 5.5 (he didn't do that much this game, still caught out of position on occasion)
Gallas: 7.5 (strong, made a few great tackles)
TV: 7 (solid)
Sagna: 5.5 (ok defensively, but **** going forward again)

Song: 5.5 (ok defensively in most cases but he made some silly errors too)
Cesc: 5.5 (would have been lower but he did create a few goal scoring chances)
Diaby: 3 (diabolical performance)

Arshavin: 5 (looked disinterested, didn't add much to attack)
Bendtner: 6 (worked hard, showed flashes of ability)
RvP: 6 (not a great performance to be honest but nice goal)

Rosicky: 6 (gave us a nice option, solid on the ball)
Eboue: 5.5 (could have been higher or lower; higher if he scored, lower if his poor decision making cost us)
