Henrikh was horrible today, and I don't see why we have to decide between him and Özil, they were both bad... Özil came on fresh at the second half, in a game in which he had space on the counter on some occasions and one less defensive body congesting things up during the build-up, and he offered absolutely nothing.

Didn’t have a great game by any stretch but it sickens me that this guy is gonna get 10x more stick than Özil (utterly anonymous) or Iwobi (utterly hopeless).

Might not be as aesthetically-pleasing a player as those two but he’s twice as involved (which is probably why he annoys so many) and twice as effective. Tracks back and never shirks responsibility in the final third.
I don`t rate either player that highly but Iwobi had more touches, made seven key passes and should have had at least one assist today if it wasn`t for some poor finishing by Miki and others. If that`s being utterly hopeless I won`t even try to describe Mikis performance.

He is all about being effective we know that. But sometimes the conditions are there and he still dont delivers what expected for a guy on his salary.

Iwobi is still our best option playing that creative winger role.

Sell.

Need to sell him in the summer. Cant see how this doesn't benefit us as it frees up a lot of wages to bring in a proper winger (hopefully Zaha). Need another one to put Iwobi on the bench too.

Just garbage. Can't be paying someone all those wages for performances like that. He loses confidence after a fart. Pathetic mentality.

Found the right spaces in the second half but wasn't good enough on the night to take advantage.

It's not that discouraging. He's a capable player who had a bad night.. no need for reactionary nonsense.

Terrible hot takes
How crap must Dennis Suarez be in training to not even get a look in over this lad.

Severe confidence issues probably
Only heightened by the fact that we obviously didnt rate him enough to buy...

And if you cant rise to the occasion in such a situation he is clearly not good enough.

It was not like any of our AMs were so Stella they couldnt be benched...

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Our best player in a few games this year, Our fans are weird. He's contributed plenty. Is he worth replacing in the summer? Possibly, but some of the reactions towards him are peculiar.

The problem is that there are times he doesn't resemble a professional footballer. He doesn't do lukewarm.

Agreed. He is extremelly hot and cold. I don't think being in and out of the team helps though. Nor does the fact he's ben injured a few times. At stages this season he's looked like Dortmund Mkhi, but only in short bursts.

He had a crap game last night, yet he easily could have left the pitch with a brace or hatrick.
