Yeah thats the issue for me, you can't have width with both him and Zinchenko. Could be that he's more for the EL and off the bench in the PL.
I would have liked a more natural winger, one who could come in when Martinelli or Saka are off form, like Gabi is at the moment.
I've also seen people say he can play across the frontline, but i don't recall seeing him on the right. ESR back coming back now too, both best off the left.
Makes me feel like he's gonna be a good signing. Everyone was twerking after us spending more on Mudryk than Ronaldo cost to Madrid. This is a perfect signing for me tbhI've never seen so little buzz for a new signing. I was even more excited when we signed Kim Kallstrom.
I am low-key buzzing. He can cower anywhere on the pitch basically and is decent at most roles. I don't think he has it in him to become one of our best players, but he's like the only option of our currently and at current form might outshine martinelli. Good for our forward to get some pressure from a player alsoI've never seen so little buzz for a new signing. I was even more excited when we signed Kim Kallstrom.
City have a really small squad, smaller than ours. Without checking I think only 17 senior players and then promising youngsters like Lewis and Palmer.I think every team has got 6 premiership games in April then there's 2 legged european semis and fa cup semis. That's when the wheels are likely to come off for us and City's big squad will zoom on by.
It's possible now that we have Trossard. Before, the price for any player we wanted would have been £88m. Kudus should be an able deputy for Partey and ultimately his successorDo it. Well worth shipping the title to North London trust me Stan was going to pay 80 million for a project. Trossard and Kudus cost about the same as Murdyk and do 10 times what Murdyk does for improving our chances at league. Time to push all the chips in Stan and let City know they should prioritize CL this year and retool in the off season.
He will play a pass and move game to offset his lack of pace. It's all about chemistryMy worry with Trossard is does he have 1v1 ability? I don't mean in the box, i mean outwide? He has good footwork, but i think his lack of pace leads him to running into blind alleys a bit. Our wingers need to be able to take us forward, can Trossard do that? He looks more like a players who comes alive in the box to me.
I don't even know why this exchange sent meVery informative post
You should sell this idea to Netflix. What if part of the agreement between Pep an Arteta from the beginning was this, let Arsenal be Champions, they sell us GJ and we sell them next year Saka. Then they are to monopolize the titles between them. One year us and one them.
