The way that's been paraphrased from Ask Ornstein show is funny

But yea, as long as Kane is on board Mourinho is fine tbh. I think if they lose the Carabao Cup his days are numbered however.

What a difference between the way the Athletic treats Mourinho (9th) and Arteta (10th, was for a 1/3 rd of the season hovering above relegation).

Quite stark, really. Is it because midtable is considered s fair position for Arsenal whilst Sp**s have fallen below their fair level?
To be fair, if you actually watched Ornies vid where that tweet came from, he actually doesn't say what that tweet says lol.

He was more saying historically the dressing rooms have always been divided on Mourinho in recent years. Their current speculation for now on dressing room divide is mostly based on player performances and appearance (or lack there of) for now.

If you asked Ornstein he'd say Mourinho is a long term project and there is no get out clause for his sacking to be easy. Not too dissimilar to what was being said about Arteta, although like you say he was a bit more dismissive about the latter's sacking.

Not too long ago, they were on top and we were languishing near the relegation zone. Now they're just two points above us.

You'd think missing out on Europe would be a worry for Sp**s. They have a not insignificant debt.

The absolute scenes when they miss out on Europe, have a mountain of debt to pay back and their fans demand that Jose is sacked but the club just can't afford to do it because of the payout they'd need to give him.

This is the perfect storm that many on here predicted.
Imagine their fans next season when they've sold Son and Kane to " balance the books, and manage their debts " but they're still stuck with Mourinho :lol::lol:

Rumors are they are looking at Julian Nagelsman (RB Leipzig) as their new manager. They will have to pay Jose a boat load of money before though.....Good luck with that.
