Sol struggled with Ameobi today!

Voted Pires. I thought he had a good first half (not as good in the second like everyone else was) where has making some good runs down the Newcastle right flank. He also won several tackles which is unusually mega from him.

Nobody really stood out though, IMO.

My vote goes to Flamini, no one really stood out, but he is impressive. He works very hard and looks like becoming a very solid and reliable player.

Pires would have got it if he played in the second half like he did in the first. This was maybe because we let them keep possesion in the second half and wait hit them on the counter.

Right about the corners, I hadn't even noticed van Persie was taking them!

Erm you could easily notice it was him he was the only left footed attacker on the pitch Pat looks like he is working harder and giving his all for the team but because we were poor upfront he couldn't find a tellling pass.
