This window is so so out of the norm for Sp**s. A 28 year old RWB and a 31 year old Bale on massive wages. There's no return/longevity involved in any either of these transfers. If their season goes south, they are going to be ****ed. This is probably the last season before Kane and Son hang around if they don't see significant progress.

Mourinho's short term planning is going against everything Sp**s have done well in the past decade to get where they are.

Idk. Think they sort of fcked themselves by signing long-term deals; both will be older than 30 when their current contracts expire. Levy's asking price will be astronomical for both, and he won't budge on players like Kane or Son when he has all the leverage, especially to a PL team.

Bale in form and full fitness with Kane and Son is probably the strongest front 3. Adding two fullbacks of that quality they were badly missing means their squad is totally complete. That's easily the 3rd/4th strongest squad in the league.

No way that Son/Kane/Bale is a better front 3 than City's or Liverpool's, not in 2020 at least.

You legitimately say they need success now to keep Kane and son, then trash them for doing some short term business

He'll be 31 next week though.

Willian is 32 and Auba is 31.

Ideally a loan would be smart business as we’d be able to upgrade on him when we secure CL football plus I’m sure he’d hit the ground running as he’s played in the PL before.

Bale is genuine world class quality. If he didnt love Wales, Golf , Madrid in that order he would he starting for Real Madrid.

Some signing by Sp**s.

Unfortuntely I don`t think motivation will be a problem for Bale. I think he lost that gradually at Madrid because of the way he was treated and never fully integrated with his team mates there despite being there for a long time. Back at Sp**s, in London and the PL he will be pretty fired up. Fitness wise it`s a risk for Sp**s but if he stays fit Bale will improve them massively I am afraid.

Certainly not the order when it comes to football. Imo Madrid is a lot more to blame for this whole story as is Bale.

What a terrible club Real is, you could be a die hard fan and servant as a player for them and you'd still be haunted out after a bad performances. Abysmal fan base

Not really worried about Bale, tbh. " on paper Bale, Kane and Son is the deadliest attack in the league " well 2/3 of them played against Everton and looked hopeless, can't remember Kane and Son even looking like much of a threat, not sure Bale is exactly what their needing. Plus on those wages its a crazy risk, it all goes sour and Sp**s are in deeper financial trouble.
Remember the last time Bale was at Sp**s he had Modric in midfield, who's he got now,Winks? Ndombele?
Can see Liverpool and City beating them comfortably, think if we get Aouar and Partey we'll have a far stronger 11 than them too.
Sp**s biggest issue this season will be Mourinho, no question about it. Their potential failure will be down to him.
