Balance is key

Delighted he started today tbh. Should mean we get Theo back up top against Southampton.

Giroud is what he is - our gay and French fans rate him highly and as a poacher he is a decent player - even his biggest fans dosnt rate him as a starting striker - when we judge him it should be as a backup striker - and for that role he is pretty good.

He cant pass a ball and he cant create any chances for himself or anyone else - but despite his lack of pace he is decent at getting at the end of what Özil can crate for him

He was bad today, but I've just accepted it now. Couple of good games where he looks up for it and a really good player, couple of dramatic lamp post performances. Par for the course.

I think we might see Theo back at cf vs Southampton. Giroud played the full 90 and has been playing every game for a while.

Why so serieuse?
Got the feeling that Giroud was trying to show off a bit against lower opposition. He'll do his bit against PL teams, which is not much, but just about adequate for us with Sanchez back.

Walcott needs to start up top in the next match. Yes, he's abysmal out wide, but he's shown what he can do and how he makes our entire attack better earlier on this season.

Giroud was absolutely dire against Burnley, embarassing performance. Walcott has been non-existant however and its a sad state of affairs when our backup striker option cant displace Giroud on current form.

Whatever way you look at it, our strikers are a weak link. Whether Theo starts upfront instead of Girouds, its six and half a dozen.

Walcott needs to earn his place back, hasn't scored in months but start him at CF. Sure ok....

Giroud looks lost without Özil. With Özil back, he should be better. But there is complacency building into his game. He knows Walcott has been in poor form

But as always our fans love a scapegoat and Giroud is great at being one.

Walcott's in poor form out wide, he's a better CF than Giroud.

If you dropped a player every time they hit a bad patch of form then our entire squad would be on the bench.

Wenger also likes to play players through poor form.

If Sanchez is fully fit and sharp then he is our best bet for goals at the moment. And I think it already been shown that Sanchez plays better with Walcott or Welbeck as forwards.

What does this even mean? He needs one of the best number 10's in football behind him to look competent??

Giroud scores goals. Thats all that matter to be honest.

I can handle when Giroud has bad games because you know he is going to do the business when it counts.

Guys like Ramsey, Ox, Walcott, Flamini etc; have been playing poorly without offering anything when we really need it.

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
