I hope I am not alone to say I think he had a great match. Last night us Block 6 fans were singing "Englands Number One" and "Sign Him Up" Do you think maybe, just maybe Arsène might try sign him? Liverpool dont seem to want him AND Wenger praised him before last nights match.

I would rather him then another foreign import that goes wrong.

As oppose to another English investment that goes wrong?

Liverpool also own that other fantastic English keeper, but they know that neither will reach potential ****ting it out in the reserves. Neither will be allowed to move cheaply.

I thought that harsh too but I believe the intent is to cut back on frivolous appeals. As I understand it his appeal was based on the idea that he was off-sides when fouled, which is saying the ref screwed up twice. If anything, the appeal should've been on the basis that RVP would not have scored anyway.

I think they deemed the appeal frivolous, I am not sure why but my only guess is that they thought it was so obvious even to the player himself that an appeal was not warranted, but who knows !
