Only Pepes first season, it will take him time to get the faith of our managers. Not good with no Martinelli in there though, must be injured.

Games are coming thick and fast now, going to plenty of chances for the entire squad to show what they can do.

Arteta will have looked at the few training sessions and will have seen who's adapting to what he wants from his team and will have picked the lineup based on that. If Pepe's not showing more than Nelson for example then it doesn't matter how much he cost or what he did at Lille. Arteta will be picking the team based on what he's seen.

Starting to understand that I hate almost every player at this club.

Not much Emery, Ljungberg and now Arteta can do with this dreadful squad. Line ups will be disappointing until we start having good transfers windows.

According to sources, Arteta changed his mind and is going with this team instead

Think he wants someone who can retain the ball better up the pitch in Lacazette.

Pepe not starting likely due to that and also down to us having no one to bring from the bench.

He takes chances and loses the ball a lot and with the state our midfield, AMN at RB and our central defense are in, we need to try and keep the ball up the pich as much as possible.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
