Only saving grace is that Klopp doesn't really alter his tactics at all. So there's definitely a potential for Auba to get space vacated by TAA. So that ball from Tierney to Auba or even the switch from Willian to Auba, will very much be on.

Cut the service outwide and you’ll stifle Liverpool. For all the quality in their team Keita/Fabinho/Gini are cloggers, they aren’t going to play through us. That threat has been negated with the absence of Thiago

The LCB spot can only be played by Tierney or Kolasinac, so it's about Luiz or Gabriel. Luiz probably will not play the RCB position.

It's such a filthy midfield man, especially given how ineffective Keita has been.

Throw Chambo in there and you struggle not to throw up.

More Consistent Than Arteta
frikking keita wijnaldum fabinho ***** midfield..... we just just hammer them through the centre and call their bluff. These posers won the PL with a crap midfield, just by Sane playing like god and the referees licking their bums

Özil at 10 And Emery Out
Expected team, super boring though.

We're expecting too much from Willian in terms of creativity.
It probably has less to do with creativity than it has to do with keeping it simple in transition and putting the work in defensively. We’re not going to have much of the ball anyways let’s face it.

Glad Gabriel isn’t starting, so shaky in the last two games.

Looks a weird team though.

I think he would have got torn apart by their attack as he has looked a bit rash so far.

Can see why Luiz is starting I guess, he's our leader and best defender and arguably our most consistent players behind Auba + Tierney.

Had to start Luiz for this game and would have been a gamble playing he and Gabriel together for the first time here.
Glad Tierney and AMN back in. Elneny probably in because he doesn't give the ball away too much but as has been said relying a lot on Willian for creativity.
