Last season it would have been disallowed. Technically it's within the rules but it shouldn't be. For me the change they've made this season is a backward step.

Jamie Redknapp interpreting handball worse than me. On the second goal the player has enough time to get his hands out of the way. Sure. A ball smashed tucked away in the most unnatural position that is acceptable - hands locked behind his back, arms by his side and elbows pointing out (where else do they go).

He is meant to move all that in a second or two. If he moves it he makes any other movement he himself bigger and deliberately moves his hands.

The powers that be really need to get a grip on the handball rule. Maybe from the wrist down.
