The heck man, that was genuine. Saw you liking a few posts here and there but genuinely missed some of your takes. Also without you around I had to direct my energy at @Riou . Lots of tired recycled material. Sausage down a hallway etcI missed you. Welcome back xoxo
4 Sp**s players and they're worse than last season ffs (or at least haven't improved).
Also how on earth could anyone have voted for a right footed winger as LB over signing the LB from the champions? Or even Cucarella.
Nunez over Haaland is so egregious.
Was crazy at the time as well.
I think he is overpriced. If he flops it could hurt us big.
Depends on how you see it, if we had a player that fit us instead we might be in CL this year. And would have 80 mil to spend somewhere else now. It sets us back buying other players at the minimum. Imagine if we already had a quality attacker and could buy a elite midfielder insteadPepe was overpriced and flopped, didn’t hurt us that much tho.
It did hurt my eyes watching him strugglePepe was overpriced and flopped, didn’t hurt us that much tho.
Pepes stats:
19/20:
18 goals/assists in 42 games.
20/21:
21 goals/assists in 47 games.
21/22:
9 goals/assists in 23 games.
He did fine. Not a massive flop imo. Its not his fault that we paid crazy money for him. Not sure Mudryk will reach these numbers.

True, but pepe was a lot more proven then mudryk is. Which makes him a even bigger risk.Yeah mostly agree but we wouldn't have 80m to spend elsewhere - we'd only have the difference between the other player we bought and the price of Pepe. Forwards that period:
Felix 127m
Griezmann 120m
Hazard 115m
Pepe 80m
Lukaku 74m
Jovic 63m
Haller 50m
Rodrygo 45m
Lozano 45m
Malcom 40m
Ben Yedder 40m
Jimenez 38m
Kulusevski 35m
Ayoze Perez 33m
Bergwijn 30m
Martins 30m
Sarr 30m
Leao 30m
Iglesias 28m
Kean 28m
Not sure which of those would have necessarily done better than Pepe for us tbh and certainly not for peanuts.
Think he is finished as a player tbh, not looking great for him in France.Problem with pepe wasn’t his numbers. It’s how little he did outside those stats. Also we needed more from him than he gave because auba and laca were in free fall. Wonder how he’d have done coming off the bench this season as an impact player. We’ll never know.
