He's expensive but he's a certified CL midfielder and one of the best of the world. He could be a great tutor to someone like Cellabos if he stays or the younger boys like ESR, Willock and Azeez.

I would go for this deal and sell Xhaka while we're at it. He's in the similar age to the Swiss but he's better in nearly every single way and if we get Partey too that basically forces Xhaka to the bench or getting sold. I'm fully behind this transfer

Aouar for 5 years, £50M, probably £25M wages in that period. Unsure whether he would make an immediate impact. But has the potential to be on the level of Thiago.

I think the better value for money to get us to the top quickly is probably in Thiago. Hopefully we can coax something up.

if he available and we can afford him they'll come this is our first 8th placed finish in 25 years still end up winning a trophy that doesn't make us a midtable side.
