This David guy always changing reporting different things in matter of hours . We wait for much better sources to report our interest is over.

I don't think anything will happen with Partey until A.Madrid season in over.

I see Thomas Partey as the more complete and dynamic midfielder who is more than capable of initiating attacks. Danilo seems more of a classic CDM who will be better at shielding our defence. I guess it depends on what we’re really looking for.

Amadou Diawara and Danilo Pereira have been mentioned as alternatives to Thomas Partey. If there's any legitimacy to that, it makes you think that we may view Partey as a defensive midfielder because that's what Diawara and Pereira are.

What I like about Partey is that he’s basically a billionaire’s Elneny (from what I’ve seen).

Very well rounded but at the highest level with elite athleticism on top. He’s not a specialist at anything but he fits into any midfield you want without being a passenger.

I think there are other guys like this around but he seems to be the best one, wouldn’t be the end of the world if we don’t sign him imo.

This dude sounds more like a paranoid fan than a journalist. Saying the FA cup win doesn’t change anything and Raul was banking on an FA cup win when he made a verbal commitment not to pay Partey’s release clause. Verbal commitment

Can you elaborate? I don't really understand.

He said last week that we had made a verbal commitment not to pay Partey’s release clause and now he’s saying that nothing has changed even though we won the FA Cup (now we have Europa League football and more money). Basically suggesting because we verbally said we won’t bid the release clause Raul won’t go back with another offer what we happens. Clearly he has never been in a negotiation.

Arsenal Quotes

What is unbelievable is that I am in a position where people reproach me for making a profit. The people who lose money – nobody says a word.
