I did the Emirates tour just after we had won the FA Cup - it's one of the most impressive stadiums I've been to - seriously amazing and the pitch is just phenomenal.

Sp**s will be in a world of pain financially whilst their stadium is getting built. Will take them 10+ years of austerity.

Shaquiri to Stoke
Delofeuo to Everton
Cabaye to Palace

It's nice to see the second wrung of the premier league add more technical players to their rosters. Should make the league even more competitive and entertaining.

Everton are as good as Sp**s, they signed Lukaku for £27m last year.

I'm curious how van Ginkel will do at Stoke. He has been a bit off the radar for a while, but he still is very talented and physically the EPL should be no problem for him.

Shaqiri is not going to Stoke though.

I am pretty impressed by the quality of the general PL buys this season. It really raises the level of the entire league by a few notch. Who would expect Cabaye to be at Palace, Behrami at Watford?

Not Emery's Old Pal
Well Cabaye was at Newcastle and couldn't get a game at PSG. Even though I like him, it's not like he is playing at a team below his level at Palace. Same thing for Behrami. Both are getting on in age as well. Actually think all of the West Ham signings are pretty average as well.

Should've tried and lured Bielsa. Still think they should've never sacked Pearson. What a farce.

Ranieri comes across as a nice character but he's a proper specialist in failure. All the big club's he's managed over such a long career and nothing but a couple of cups to show for it.

Bielsa would never have gone to Leicester, players aren't good enough nor does the club have the funds or attractiveness to attract players he appreciates.

The man is very specific about which teams he manages and is very volatile, nobody is even sure if he's going to return to Marseille.

League is very weak
Bielsa is all hype. He might have good theories on paper, but I don't see any sustained success from any of his teams.

That's true.

Remember reading one guy who said that if football were to be played with robots, Bielsa would be the best manager around.

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
