Though the result may not show it, Gabriel and Koscielny really stood out as a partnership. Not to the level of Mustafi but certainly were not at fault for any of the goals.

Granit-Coq in midfield was also excellent. Coquelin as the aggressor and Xhaka as the dictator really works well. Shame our attack was lacklustre today.

Still, some positives to take from this game. Lucas should be starting over Ox and Iwobi. Walcott still proves very useful if we intend on keeping Sanchez as our CF.

Sanchez
Lucas - Özil - Theo
For the city game.

You're chatting **** dude. There's no two ways about it. Now is not the time to promote your Rotation Sect.

We lost the game and it certainly wasn't because of rotation. Lucas isn't a far superior footballer to Walcott, they're in fact much alike, good finishers and not very good under pressure. Lucas scored vs a pub team in a deadrubber, well ****ing done. Walcott was the right choice because he has played in England for years and knows how these games go, he also had a fine game against Stoke.

Ok, it's not the time to promote my Rotation Sect. I guess it must be time for you to start being condescending to people who disagreed with your opinion that Walcott should start both matches...because he had a great match against Stoke? I always agreed he should play one of the games...

Mate, Wenger's been in charge for over 1100 games. In that time there's been over 230 other managers in the EPL alone. He's actually only played each one a relatively small number of times.

His win% is the second best ever at 58%. Therefore most managers confrontations will be mixed, some he'll win more than average and others will win against him more than average. That's how statistics work.

To draw conclusions from a small sample is a classic error, even if it fits your narrative.

Lost to Koeman again.

Our line-up today can do a lot of damage to City in current form.

Everyone who want to to change the whole line-up because of this loss need to look at recent results.

What failed today is we were to eager in the position 1-0. We were doing everything quickly. Instead of trying to go for the ball, Walcott should have closed Baines down and not give him space. But everyone was just speeding the game up.

We must now go to City with this line up and respond strongly!

The stone that the builders refuse

that's why i wanted Arsène to take Özil off he wasn't even bothered or in mood to play
that was Xhaka though

okay, yeah Özil was in front & didn't leap or anything. He does need to man up in certain situations for sure...''in fact he effing ducked out the way.

Midfield was to slow. Why perez doesnt start baffles me
Might be time to start Perez on the right instead of Theo. Ox has shown some signs of life and deserves to keep his place at least for the City match. Perez is better technically than Theo and very quick with a hell of a shot. The fact that he can actually cut in on his left will give the opposing left back something to think about rather than with poor Theo who is criminally one footed.

"Surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!
