We don't know if Lampard will be appointed or how he will perform of he is. The squad may be old but they're intelligent and experienced winners who know how to step it up. They don't have a DOF but neither do we. What they do have is an army of people really invested in the club. I know Pulisic isn't on Hazard's level but he walks in to our team atm. Both Chelsea and Utd were there for the taking this season and we pretty much failed. Both will find a way to improve next season whilst Raul trots out platitudes. Even if Chelsea and Utd fail, our capacity to out fail them is almost certain.

They’ve kind of already done the first by hitting two CL finals in a row and actually challenging Man City. As for being back above us in the pecking order? They comfortably did that last summer.

Its still problem we play with 7 defenders and we can't defend what if a attacking minded came and we play with 4 we'll concede so many goals. We need attacking minded manager but we desperately need good players too

Of course we need better players. We need to be pragmatic though, at no point in time has playing 7 defenders made us any less likely to concede. Try something else FFS. Try to win the midfield battle. Make it so that there isn't this huge disconnect between your defence and attack. And I would very much have preferred if we attacked Chelsea and lost by a goal instead of this limp **** performance that no cocktail of erectile dysfunction drugs can cure.

As I say before without having real wingers it'll stop us playing with attacking formation our squad is not balanced it just a mess and we have to try fix it in summer
