Like that a player many on this forum don't rate is getting interest from Atletico, a top La Liga club, while a player that would only be picked up by a mid-table BL club is praised to the skies. Guess it says a lot...

Who dat?

Huge Vag Vinai will make it happen with these outgoings. Just needs to soften the Partey deal with Torreira.

Buff, I hope this Torreira-Atléti link is real, kinda afraid it's just a hopeful link made by an Uruguayan journo followed by a bunch of unscrupulous Spanish and Italian journos running with it and making a mountain out of a grain of sand, seen it happen so many times.

Torreira at Atléti, even on just a loan, would really preserve some value should the market recuperate a bit in a years time. Caché of playing for Atléti + his weaknesses being hidden in Cholo-ball should = retaining some market value.

Worried the reality is it's just these mediocre Italian clubs offering loans and little else. Kinda doubt Atléti is sealing the deal for Roca, battling for Suárez, and going for Torreira at the same time. Of all those the third is the one with the worst sources.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
