Happy New Year, lads and ladies. And what a way to ring it in. Eduardo's goal should be included in coaching manuals for strikers. His form and technique were perfect as he killed Cesc's cross with his chest and swiveled to volley the ball with his left..

And Ade scored another one of those long-shot goals that only he can score. Fantastic finish. Our 2 strikers showed the types of gifts that could result in them being our favoured front pair. RVP obviously benefits from being our most reliable dead ball specialist, but Eduardo and Ade are outstanding right now.

Just had a chance to watch this game last night, and I thought it was one of our best performances of the season. Only a few bad things stand out, two were one off errors. First was Hoyte's gaffe(who played well I thought) and the second was Ade not laying off to Eduardo. Plus, we looked shakey on corners, but we played phenominally. West Ham were just outclassed IMO.

Well pleased with our performance...got the job done quickly, kept it tight and still had plenty in reserve if we needed it...and Edu looks very sharp.

That win over Everton has brought our confidence back, great Xmas period for us in the end.

Exactly 10, we got the job done quickly, something we struggled to do at home all last season

We ate the toffees that day and moyes really got done by The Arse

We now feel energized

Agreed. I love those games that are over and the 3 points safe by 20 minutes, the team can conserve energy- make them chase around, and we can relax, drink, and make humorous observations and pass funny comments.......screw the neutrals. :D
