So i thought i'd make the thread as no one else has. We should see a few more names return to the starting line up. I believe one source said our first eleven will play.

Wenger said:
“We have some time. We have until August 31. We left 11 players back in Austria for this game. They will play in Stuttgart [on July 30].”

The 11 players are probably the first team starters; he says we won't see them till Stuttgart. So I reckon we'll see more of the youngsters in this one.

Vela will go absolutely mental for this match.

Burgerland to be annihilated 8-0 with the Mexican having 3 Cheese burgers, 2 Large fries, 2 Chicken wings and a Coke would be my prediction for this cholesterol galore of a friendly match.

I would like to see this team:

------------------Almunia

Sagna---Djourou----Senderos----Traore

Eboue----Denilson---Ramsey----Walcott

------------Bendtner------Vela

Are you sure you don't want our Big Sendy to score a hattrick, one from a free-kick like 30 metres away from the goal. :p

I'd rather see the people who all have the most to prove first followed by the closest to 1st team on at 2nd half.

No Clichy mate?
I like your line up but having Eboue on the pitch would sadden me. I would pop Lansbury there. I also wouldn't demote Hoyte just yet. Maybe next to Djourou or Senderos he would do well?

anyone else but me notice that if according to the heading of this post, we're playing burgenland AFTER the start of the premier league season? That's planning a little too far ahead...even for you sabre. :p

I would start with

Almunia

Sagna RB
Clichy LB
Djourou CB
Senderos CB

Wilshere LW
Walcott RW
Ramsey CM
Denilson CM

Vela CF
Bendtner CF

I would really like to see us not concede and get a good win.

Some sites are saying Coquelin is out of tomorrow's game with an injury.

I don't think it matters. Most of the first team will be back and he would've got 25 minutes max.

D'oh!

Oh well, we know that Cesc isn't back training yet, so i suspect we might only see Senderos, van Persie and Nasri added to the squad.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal are the most beautiful club in England. At Man City and Chelsea, they will never have that class and style.
