A minute's silence for all Fenerbahce fans on social media.
They already thought it's a done deal, because of the turkish media :D

Good for him. While he will get less silverware if he harbours an ambition of getting back into the England squad he needs to be playing in a top league.

You'd prefer Everton? Honest question.

I thought he would go to Everton cause of the new money they have. But on that note they’ve been quite with transfers are they not owned by a business partner of Alishire Usmonav who is also a billionaire?

I knew it would happen, but it still feels bad.

My Wilshere shirt from 11/12 (I bought it before he got injured and subsequently didn't play a single game that year...) will always hold a special place for the promise he showed and the talent and class he exhumed every time he was back for a prolonged period.

This does show, however, that it was just never meant to be..

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal have got as much chance of being handed the title by Sp*rs as I have of being given the Crown Jewels. They are the last people we want winning the Championship. Now we mean to round off our season by beating Arsenal.

Alan Mullery (Sp*rs captain in 1971)

There is no way we were going to be beaten

Bertie Mee in the same game after beating Spurs and clinching the Double at White Hart Lane
