We need this guy, Kola, Sokratis and hopefully Mustafi out this week.
So much work needing done here.

Not selling AMN is looking like a big mistake, honestly. Should've used that money to fund important reinforcements in the middle of the park. Quite possible that we don't get that kind of offer again for him, kinda like that offer we got for Chambers from Palace a few years back.

What, 15 million quid? Do us a favour.

They were reported to be coming back in with another offer before we took him off the market.

£20m for AMN to enable us to address needs in midfield > having AMN, an asset that I'm not convinced will even appreciate more than that.

It is pretty evident Arsenal do not have the kind of money needed to buy Partey and Aouar as opposed to what some fans may believe. The actions from the negotiations so far are pretty clear. For Gabriel's situation, it was more of the convincing and Brazilian connection that swayed it for us , considering he had offers from other top clubs. With Aouar and Partey , we do not have any of the above to take to the table. We are clear and have been communicated the price tags and had player / cash offers turned down early in the window.

We may have over estimated our ability to generate funds from the players Arteta and Edu decided to offload this summer. It demonstrates the deep issues crippling the club. We have players who are on big salaries with very little transfer value. Players like Niles and Emi all fringe players before Arteta are the ones demanding 20m plus bids. What about the players we recently spent money to bring in? What is their value today? This is surreal, Niles and Emi interests were based on their form since Arteta came in. No one else has even made a derisory offer for any of our players. As Edu said, just loan offers. This is where Edu and Arteta are stuck. We cannot raise as much as we hoped from Kola , Papa , Mustafi , El Nenny , Chambers , etc..No one even wants to touch Guendouzi with a stick so far. Poor profile and a consequent low transfer value. We were pushed to sell Emi who was never on the transfer list for this summer.

As things stand over the next 2 weeks, Kroenke may need to step in to get us across the line. Without the FA Cup and Arteta's influence, I am sure Arsenal fans would have been in meltdown by now. This is how the owners manage to hide as they did under Wenger for a while.

Atletico is not obliged to discuss Partey in their deal for Lucas. It is their right to want to keep Partey at all cost. They are not under any pressure unless the release clause is met. We are the weaker party because we want to get rid of Lucas. There is no obligation to go for a swap. Lucas has very little concrete demand and it plays into their hands.
