So.. does anyone know how much money Tottenham will lose if they sack Mourinho?

I read that Mourinho is on double wages compared to Pochettino, so maybe they will lose double the money if they sack him too? 40 million pounds?

It's surely not looking good, and Tottenham fans say there has been no change in a year in performances or tactics.

Some people wanted Mourinho to Arsenal here.

I'm starting to think that Jose has realized that he gets more money faster if he gets sacked.

"Pochettino departs Hotspur Way with a trio of coaches following in his wake. Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino and Antoni Jimenez also find themselves jobless, with compensation for the quartet thought to total £20million."

It's understandable to get such a low expected goals against Liverpool, but Brighton.

3 CB's against bottom team, and Davies and Sissoko as wingbacks. Genius.

"Suspicions that Tottenham were ripe for dismantling on Sunday night only grew when Mourinho picked three central defenders against the worst home side in the country. That formation typically relies upon the wing-backs to provide the creativity, but Mourinho selected two unnatural wing-backs in Ben Davies (left-back) and Moussa Sissoko (central midfielder). They created one chance each."

...

"Tottenham’s expected goals total at half-time? 0.03.

Mourinho insisted after the match that his team did apply pressure in the final 20 minutes, but forgive me for holding back the prizes for that. Sp**s were 1-0 down against a team with one home league win since 2019 – I’d bloody hope that they would try and equalise. That doesn’t even meet the bare minimum standard required.

And there’s a slightly broader issue here too. Mourinho explained the lack of energy in the first half – particularly in attacking areas – because several Tottenham players are “sad”. You can interpret that in all manner of ways (Mourinho’s vagueness was surely deliberate), but the manager must accept his own culpability in that process."

...

"Mourinho now has a serious problem on his hands. Tottenham are enjoying a worse ‘start’ (and we are now past halfway) to a season than in any of the five full campaigns under Mauricio Pochettino."

...

"Fourteen months after Mourinho was appointed, Tottenham look roughly the same as they did in Pochettino’s final weeks. They are gaining more points per game than Pochettino did until November that season (1.2 vs 1.7), but then Tottenham have signed nine new first-team players under Mourinho."

Keep hearing it, but are Sp**s actually renowned for being a "good football" team, or is this just another bit of "the West Ham way" ridiculousness from their supporters?

Honestly never saw them as an attacking team or defensive team, just kind of a nothing team.

Meh it's just an attempt at branding. When you play well you can say it's "the sp*rs way", when you don't you just say nothing. It's like when Arsenal does something classy we say "typical classenal" and when we sack 50 employees in the middle of a Paco Rabanne we just say "yeah but we want Thomas Partey f*ck those losers they were probably work-shy scroungers anyway".

Said right back in 2015/16 that Mourinho couldn't manage a club like Arsenal or Sp**s spending 5th or 6th. But oh no, endless posters said he was a winner and a mile better than Wenger. Doubt he can top 4 once with Sp**s let alone 20 in a row. Specialist in failure.

That some wanted him here still irks me. After all he has done against Wenger and us as a club. Even if you would consider him an option at this stage in his career, with the turgid football his teams have produced over his last couple of managerial stints, to have no sense of pride? To not say to yourself: I do never ever want to see that **** bucket at my club! Just don’t understand that part of the equation.

Sp**s keep on losing. We beat them 4-0 at home on March 13th and Jose is sacked. Sweet revenge!
We have never scored four goals or more in the PL under Arteta, last time was Feb 19th 2019 in a match against Bournemouth (5-1) so I highly doubt that. I also highly doubt Jose will be in charge by then if he doesn't have an Arteta esque revival.

Edit: I'm an idiot, disregard.
