“Ok Chuck now stand completely still and demand the ball, don’t run after it, let someone else do that”.
“Nice penalty Brad, you’re hitting it a bit hard though, try bobbling it into the ground next time.

Man, those Özil shots bounced off the ground were my ****ing jam. Such a sad state of affairs between him and the club.

So basically semi retirement in all but name then.

Can't say I blame him though. He doesn't seen passionate enough or have the drive to be a serious footballer anymore so may as well choose the best lifestyle to see his career out. MLS seems the best option for that.

Based on what? Played every game when Arteta arrived. Then Arteta himself said Özil is training well, even this summer.

People are saying this about Auba now. Think it’s a lazy attack.

He’s also 33 at the start of next season, I don’t know what you’re expecting from him, his career at the elite level is finished.

I don't know why you constantly want to make Özil sound old  He only just turned 32 in October, he'll still be 32 at the start of next season. He should be in the tail of end of his peak years. 28-32.

It's his choice what he does. I hope it's a good move for him on a personal level but the fact a player with as much natural ability as him is looking at a semi retirement league at the age of 32 tells me all I need to know about his mentality and desire for the game.

Maybe he's got some underlying physical issues that stop him performing at a high level, If we want to take the most charitable interpretation of the situation.

He’s here till next summer, he’ll be 33 for his next club. You bashed him when he was linked with Fenerbache, CL level club.

You keep questioning his desire and hunger but Arteta himself said Özil is training well.

Also, he can only move to clubs that offer him a deal, I’m sure he would love to join Real or Bayern but they aren’t offering him **** at 33.

I think the Auba being in decline stuff is rubbish. He's low on form / confidence and we're not set up to get the best out of him.

Auba's all around game is poor at the best of times. When he's not scoring goals it makes him look a liability. I see no decline in him though.

FWIW, I'd rather Arteta just flat out say he's not getting registered. This bed has been made and I hate it that we have to keep trying to dodge the question like this.

To do what really? Lets see what AFC gonna do:

Extend Willian to 2030
Buy Ceballos
Settle some hippy families around the Emirates over to give Bellerin company
To get this problem sorted his time here is done we all know that i don't care about other players at the moment tired of discussion about him everyday

We all know deep inside he won't what the point register him for 4 months? He won't even have the motivation to play because he know he leaving.

He probably wont be registered, although I wont be surprised if he is.

The Europa League is starting to look like our golden ticket back into CL contention. Özil, could play a role in that, and also put himself in the shop window for a free transfer come season's end.

Arteta must work on his strategic squad planning, it could do him good.

:lol::lol:

There's teams like Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, Roma, Napoli, San Sebastian, Leicester, Braga, Milan, Villareal, Sp**s already in the EL.

Then you got Salzburg, Donezk, Ajax and United dropping from the CL into the EL.

Arsenal is not beating any of those teams, some are far, far superior. Arsenal can't even beat Burnley.

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
