What's funny is that the game was basically a reversal of what we've come to expect from Arsenal vs Chelsea games over the last 10-15 years. Only yesterday it was Chelsea playing the nice possession football with no real penetration while it was Arsenal who scored the two goals in the first half and held out for the win.

Think we will be 6th come end of Feb. Everyone around us has easy fixtures coming up. End of March we will be 4th.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how our home record the last few years compare with the other top teams? Actually think it could be better than most, we rarely lose at the Emirates.

If you do a quick gooogle you can fine the home and away tables. Currently 3rd home, 8th away.

Last season was 2nd/ 11th at the end of the season

It's a nice foundation to work on, a lot easier to fix than the reverse.

I remember looking at Liverpool's big game record and thinking they're not that far away from being a problem, look at them now. If Kroenke has any ounce of sense he'll recognise that now is the time to invest in this squad, we've got the strikers, that's the hardest part. Everything else is easier to fix.

    Top post Trill. Very true.
Liverpool have been building very well. They clearly know what they're doing there.

Marcos Alonso won't face any retrospective action for putting his hand into the face of Ainsley Maitland-Niles during Arsenal's 2-0 win on Saturday.

FA is as useless as ever.

Really hope Emery sticks with this formation now. It may be less effective against teams that sit back I think, but then simply change the personnel.

Özil at 10 and Ramsey in Geundouzi's spot for example. Iwobi could perhaps play as the left central midfielder as well.
